Oman Launches National Bitcoin Mining Pool with 10 EH/s Target

Oman has launched Omanhash, its national Bitcoin mining pool for licensed crypto mining companies. This move comes under state oversight rules and will consolidate about 10 EH/s of computing power in its first phase.

The pool is being managed with Frontier Technologies LLC, an Omani blockchain and Web3 company. Enegix Global provides the technology platform and liquidity infrastructure.

Enegix Chief Business Development Officer Olzhas Amirov said that clear licensing rules help miners operate legally and keep communication open with authorities. This follows years of mining and data-center investment in Oman, which has attracted more than $700 million since 2022.
