GTA 6 Scam Sites Drain Crypto from Gamers Worldwide

Fake websites claiming to offer early access to Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6) are scamming gamers worldwide, asking for $250 or more in Bitcoin (BTC), USDT, or Ether. These sites use polished design, urgency, and irreversible crypto payments to deceive victims.

The scams emerged just days before Rockstar Games' official preorder window on June 25, with fake storefronts mimicking premium game retailers. One site sold 'VIP Digital Access' for $250, instructing buyers to enter a transaction ID to unlock a nonexistent file.

Rockstar has confirmed that there is no legitimate early access program, making any pre-launch download offer unauthorized. Official preorders begin on June 25 through authorized digital storefronts and select retailers, while GTA 6 launches on November 19, 2026.
