Galaxy Digital Renames Texas Tech Stadium as Part of 15-Year Crypto Deal

Galaxy Digital has signed a 15-year deal to rename Texas Tech's football stadium Galaxy Stadium. The agreement makes Galaxy the official digital assets and data center partner of Texas Tech Athletics.

The renamed stadium will host its first game on September 5, 2026, against Abilene Christian. This partnership connects Galaxy's infrastructure business with one of West Texas's most visible college sports programs.

Texas has become a growing hub for crypto investment, mining operations, and pro-crypto legislation. Other companies in the state include Riot Platforms, Cipher Mining, Core Scientific, CleanSpark, IREN, and Hut 8.
