Global cryptocurrency markets were under pressure on Monday as traditional markets reopened following the U.S.-Iran conflict.
BTC/USD fell to $66,702 in early trading, down 1.1% over the past 24 hours, while other major cryptocurrencies also experienced losses. Ether dropped 2.5%, solana plummeted 4.1%, and XRP lost 3.6%.
The weekly numbers paint a more dire picture, with solana leading losses among majors with an 8.1% decline over seven days.
