Dubai Regulator Cracks Down on Unlicensed Crypto Exchanges

The regulatory body overseeing virtual assets in Dubai, VARA, has taken action against two prominent crypto exchanges. A cease and desist order has been issued to KuCoin and MEXC for allegedly providing trading services without the required authorization.

VARA emphasizes that these exchanges do not have the necessary licenses to operate in or from Dubai, highlighting a potential breach of regulations.
