Bitmine Immersion Technologies has made a significant move in the cryptocurrency market by acquiring 111,942 ETH worth approximately $237 million, its largest single purchase of 2026.

The firm now holds nearly 5.4 million ETH, equal to about 4.47% of Ethereum's circulating supply. This is notable as Chairman Tom Lee announced that the firm intended to slow down its buying pace due to reaching a significant percentage of the circulating supply just weeks prior.
