US Government Makes Progress on Iran Conflict, Aave Completes Liquidation of Attacker's rsETH Positions
The US government is making progress in its efforts to end the war with Iran. According to CNN, a source stated that Iran is expected to submit its response to the US proposal aimed at ending the conflict on Thursday. This comes after the White House advisor revealed that an announcement regarding the latest developments of the US Strategic Bitcoin Reserve will be issued within the next few weeks.
Aave has also made significant progress in recovering from the rsETH incident. The company stated that it has completed the liquidation of the attacker's rsETH positions on Ethereum and Arbitrum, and associated collateral assets have now been transferred to a recovery guardian address. This is a critical step in Aave's broader recovery roadmap.
Other notable developments in the crypto space include Morgan Stanley's E*Trade launching cryptocurrency trading services, Ondo Finance completing a pilot transaction linking the XRP Ledger with interbank clearing networks, and Kraken launching CFTC-regulated spot margin trading for US retail users. Hut 8 also released its Q1 financial results, revealing that leases for its AI data centers secured $16.8 billion in revenue.
