Large Whale Transfers $4.29M USDT, Expands ETH Holdings

A recent analysis of blockchain data has revealed a substantial transfer of funds by a high-net-worth investor. According to tracking service Onchain Lens, a large whale withdrew 4.29 million USDT from the decentralized lending protocol Aave on March 22nd.

Following this withdrawal, the whale proceeded to purchase 2,012 ETH, significantly increasing their holdings in the cryptocurrency. This transaction brings the total value of their portfolio to approximately $249 million.

The whale currently holds a substantial amount of ETH, with 119,826 units in their possession. Despite withdrawing a significant portion of their USDT from Aave, they still maintain a deposit of 4.35 million USDT on the platform.
