Upbit Suspends Cronos Deposits Amid Network Upgrade

Upbit, one of South Korea's largest digital asset exchanges by trading volume, has taken precautions ahead of an upcoming Cronos (CRO) network upgrade.

The exchange has temporarily suspended deposits and withdrawals for CRO tokens in order to ensure user funds remain secure during the upgrade process. Trading pairs involving CRO may continue to operate as normal, subject to market conditions and exchange policies.

The suspension is a standard operational procedure for exchanges dealing with network upgrades. Similar events have occurred across major cryptocurrency platforms, including Binance, Coinbase, and Kraken.
