Crypto Markets See Inflows Amid Bitcoin's Decline

Crypto markets have been experiencing a decline in recent weeks, with Bitcoin and Ethereum facing significant selling pressure. However, not all cryptocurrencies are feeling the heat. XRP and Solana have attracted fresh investor demand despite the market downturn.

According to CoinShares, digital asset investment products saw $1.07 billion in outflows last week, marking the first negative week after seven consecutive weeks of gains. The majority of the selling pressure was seen in Bitcoin, with $982 million leaving the asset and reducing its year-to-date total to $3.9 billion.

Ethereum also faced heavy selling pressure, with $249 million exiting the asset in its largest weekly decline since January 30. Blockchain equity ETFs were similarly affected, posting a combined $133 million decline amid broader risk-off sentiment.
