Strategy Bitcoin Holdings Stands Firm Amid $13B Paper Losses
Strategy Bitcoin Holdings, led by Michael Saylor, is standing firm despite the recent downturn in the cryptocurrency market. The company's aggressive accumulation plan has seen its total Bitcoin holdings reach 847,363 coins, acquired at a cost of approximately $13 billion in paper losses since Bitcoin's all-time high above $126,000.
Saylor remains confident that the current volatility is part of the journey and that every capital structure must face market fluctuations. He emphasizes the company's focus on disciplined capital allocation, credit quality, and long-term value creation, as well as its commitment to Bitcoin.
Strategy has continued to purchase more Bitcoin through bull and bear markets alike since 2020, transforming itself into the largest corporate Bitcoin holder in the world. The recent acquisition of 520 BTC for approximately $35 million pushed its total holdings above the 847K mark.
