Lee Says Crypto Market in 'Dark Age' Despite AI-Driven Correction

Tom Lee, chief strategist at Fundstrat, has sounded a warning to investors about fear-driven selling in the cryptocurrency market.

Lee described current crypto market sentiment as a 'dark age', with extreme pessimism surrounding Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH).

In an interview on Anthony Scaramucci's 'All Things Markets,' Lee said interest in BTC and ETH has dropped sharply, Google search volumes have fallen, and the Fear & Greed Index has slid to a level worse than immediately after the FTX collapse.

However, he warned that such extreme pessimism could be a signal of a market reversal, citing the AI investment boom as a main driver of the correction.
