Bitwise Expands Staking Capabilities with Chorus One Acquisition

Bitwise Asset Management has made a significant move in the crypto industry by acquiring Chorus One, a leading institutional staking provider. This acquisition is expected to expand Bitwise's multichain staking capabilities across more than 30 proof-of-stake networks.

The deal brings Chorus One's expertise and technology under Bitwise's umbrella, adding nearly 50 technology professionals to the firm's ranks. This expansion will increase Bitwise's validator and research capacity, enabling it to offer more comprehensive staking services to its clients.

Bitwise is known for its crypto investment products, including index funds and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) that provide exposure to digital assets without directly holding tokens. Through its onchain division, Bitwise provides staking services, allowing clients to earn yield by helping secure proof-of-stake blockchains.
