Bitcoin Volatility Hits Nine-Month Low Amid Shift in Investor Demand
Bitcoin's price movements have become less erratic over the past few weeks, with market data indicating a decline in volatility. This trend is evident in the Bitcoin Volmex implied volatility index, which measures the expected 30-day volatility of Bitcoin based on real-time crypto options prices.
The index has fallen to 36.11, its lowest level since last September and nearing the lowest point since 2023. This decrease in volatility may be a result of investors reassessing their strategies, with some choosing to focus on alternative trading opportunities.
