BNB Chain Unveils High-Frequency L1 Blockchain for AI-Agent Trading

BNB Chain is developing a high-frequency Layer 1 blockchain designed for AI-agent trading. The goal is to create an environment where machine-speed transactions can be executed with fast confirmation times, predictable execution, and a different transaction flow model.

The current public mempool model would be replaced by TxStream, which streams orders directly to block leaders instead of broadcasting them publicly. This could reduce front-running and sandwich attacks, common challenges in decentralized trading environments.

BNB Chain's technical goals include processing over 100,000 transactions per second with preconfirmation times below 50 milliseconds and sub-second finality. The network plans to launch a public testnet at the end of 2026 and a mainnet in early 2027 if performance targets are met.

However, AI agents require more than speed to capture liquidity. They also need deep liquidity, reliable data feeds, secure authorization systems, and predictable costs to operate efficiently.
