Binance Stock Trading Halted for Six-Hour System Upgrade
Binance, one of the world's largest cryptocurrency exchanges, will temporarily suspend its stock trading service on June 13, 2025. The scheduled downtime is necessary to implement critical infrastructure improvements by Binance's third-party broker partner.
The system upgrade aims to enhance stability, security, and overall trading performance. During this time, users will be unable to trade tokenized stocks on the platform, which allows them to buy and sell fractional shares of major companies like Tesla, Apple, and Amazon using cryptocurrency.
Binance has advised users to plan their trading activities accordingly and to ensure any pending orders are managed before the maintenance window begins. The temporary halt is expected to last from 10:50 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. UTC on June 13.
