Russia's Moscow Exchange Prepares for Crypto Trading Amid Regulatory Framework Development

The Moscow Exchange (MOEX) has announced plans to introduce cryptocurrency trading services once Russia finalizes its regulatory framework.

According to Viktor Zhidkov, CEO of MOEX's operator, testing will begin in early summer with a focus on traditional infrastructure readiness.

Only professional market participants will be admitted to the initial trials, with slots available for as many as possible. This will enable them to provide services to their clients once the necessary legislation is passed and relevant regulations are introduced.
