According to the FBI's New York Field Office, these tokens carry a message visible through a blockchain explorer, instructing users to provide their personal details via an online form in compliance with anti-money laundering rules. However, authorities advise users not to fall for this scam and refrain from providing any identifying information to associated websites.

The token in question bears the FBI's name and claims that users risk 'a total block on your assets' if they fail to verify their personal information. This echoes a common tactic used by crypto scammers, who often invoke urgency to swindle digital assets from vulnerable victims.
