Long-Term Bitcoin Whale Stirs Activity with $382M Transfer

A long-term Bitcoin whale has made a significant move in the market after an 8-year hiatus. According to blockchain analytics firm Lookonchain, the wallet had been inactive since around 2018 until it transferred 5,908 BTC to a new wallet on July 17.

The holdings are currently valued at $382.67 million, which represents a massive unrealized gain of $283.0 million since the market peak in October 2025 when Bitcoin traded at $126,200.

Market commentator Seth has warned that selling Bitcoin now would be 'no different from a crime' and suggested that investors are buying steadily, indicating a potential rebound in prices.
