Lummis Promises Revised Crypto Bill Draft After Ethics Concerns

The Digital Asset Market Clarity Act, a bill to regulate cryptocurrency and digital assets, is getting an updated draft. Republican Senator Cynthia Lummis, who has championed the bill, said lawmakers will soon release the revised version of H.R. 3633.

Lummis's comments came on June 25, 2026, as concerns over ethics have stalled progress in the Senate. The House had advanced the bill last year but it remains stuck amid Democratic worries that the current draft does not do enough to prevent public officials from enriching themselves unduly.
