Trump Media Withdraws Crypto ETF Filings Amid Fierce Competition

Trump Media & Technology Group has withdrawn its regulatory filings for proposed Truth Social-branded crypto ETFs, including products tied to Bitcoin and Ethereum.

The company had announced in June 2025 that it filed a registration statement for the Truth Social Bitcoin and Ethereum ETF. However, recent market developments may have played a role in this decision.

Analysts point out that the US market already has over a dozen spot Bitcoin products, offering low fees as low as 14 basis points. This makes differentiation difficult for new entrants unless they can offer lower pricing, better liquidity, or a unique structure.
