Crypto Market Sees Heavy Losses as Dogecoin and HYPE Plummet
The cryptocurrency market experienced significant losses last week, with Dogecoin and Hyperliquid's HYPE posting the steepest declines among major assets. According to Analytics Insight, these tokens fell by nearly 10% each over the seven-day period.
Beyond these two, other prominent cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ether, XRP, also suffered losses, with Ethereum declining 8.4% and trading near $1,581.
Solana and Tron were relatively more stable, with Solana holding at around $72 and Tron trading close to $0.32.
Market analyst Alex Kuptsikevich noted that Bitcoin's brief drop below $58,800 was met with 'aggressive buying', which pushed the price back above $60,000. However, he expressed doubts about the strength of this recovery and warned of potential selling pressure returning.
