Bitcoin's Price Fluctuates Amid Ongoing Global Tensions
Bitcoin's price has been subject to intense fluctuations in recent days. On Monday morning, the leading cryptocurrency briefly approached $80 but encountered resistance and retreated shortly after. This sudden surge in value was followed by a period of consolidation, with the price oscillating between $77 and $78.500.
The weekend saw relatively few significant movements, although there were a couple of notable exceptions. The cancellation of US President Donald Trump's diplomatic trip to Pakistan caused BTC to momentarily drop to $77.200. However, hours later, reports of an incident involving shots fired near the White House led to a significant increase in value.
In response to news that Iran had signaled a possible proposed agreement to end its conflict with the US, Bitcoin rose again to $79.500 but failed to sustain the movement, retreating to the $77.500 region before stabilizing near $78. The total cryptocurrency market capitalization remains stable at around $2.68 trillion.
