Bipartisan Talks Stall on CLARITY Act's Ethics Provision

Bipartisan negotiations are underway in the US Congress over the ethics provision in the CLARITY Act, a digital-asset market structure bill.

The talks also include provisions related to decentralized finance (DeFi), but the biggest sticking point remains the ethics provision.

A spokesperson for Senator Cynthia Lummis said negotiations with the White House went well and that the soon-to-be released draft ethics provision will reflect the results of productive discussions.
