India's RBI Faces Pressure as Cryptocurrency Discussions Loom Amid AI Adoption Hurdles

The Indian government is set to hold discussions with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on cryptocurrencies, as announced by an MPs' panel.

Around 80% of enterprises are expected to have used generative AI applications or APIs in production this year, according to Gartner. However, only 45% of organizations with high AI maturity can sustain AI initiatives in production over the long term, underscoring the gap between experimentation and enterprise-wide execution.

The focus is shifting from model sophistication to how effectively intelligence is embedded into real-world decision-making. This was reflected in demonstrations of how integrated platforms such as SAS Viya are helping organizations shorten the path from experimentation to deployment.
