Cryptocurrency Market Sees Broad Surge Following US CPI Data Release
The cryptocurrency market experienced a broad surge in value following the release of US Consumer Price Index (CPI) data. The MarketVector Digital Assets 100 Mid-Cap Index rose by 2.28% to 2,639.08 points.
Meanwhile, the MarketVector Digital Assets 100 Index increased by 4.01% to 12,892.52 points. This index had been rising steadily before the release of the US CPI data, and accelerated upwards after it was published.
Several cryptocurrencies also saw significant gains, with Solana up 3.38%, Dogecoin up 4.23%, and XRP up 3.91%. Bitcoin rose by 4.42% to $64,817.40, while Ethereum increased by 6.01% to $1,874.79.
