Pi Network Upgrade Brings BN254 Cryptography, Privacy Features
The Pi Network is set to release its Protocol v25 upgrade on July 22, bringing BN254 cryptography and zero-knowledge proof support for privacy-focused smart contracts.
This upgrade will first be launched on testnet, aiming to enhance network stability and fuel user anticipation. The addition of these features has driven renewed interest in the Pi Network, sparking a bullish bias among traders.
The PI/USD price is currently trading at $0.0824, with a daily gain of 8.71% and short-term positive momentum indicated by its position above key moving averages.
However, despite this immediate upward trend, analysts caution that the long-term bearish pressure on Pi may still prevail, predicting consolidation within the $0.0723 to $0.0855 volatility band over the next 2-3 days.
