CCEO Arrests 13th Suspect in Rs 226cr Crypto-Terror Racket

The Cyber Centre of Excellence (CCEO) in Ahmedabad has made another significant arrest in the Rs 226.54-crore cryptocurrency racket, bringing the total number of accused to 13.

The arrested individual is Shabbar Hussain Mohammad Hanif Padela, a 35-year-old resident of Bushra Hills, Sarkhej.

Investigations into the racket have revealed that kingpins Mohmand Zubair Popatia and Zeeshan Motiwala allegedly converted illicit cryptocurrency into cash using Monero and Binance wallets.
