Telegram Handle @boss Sells for 500K USDT on TON Network

The Telegram platform has seen a surge in high-stakes transactions involving its unique usernames. One notable example is the recent sale of @boss for 500,000 USDT on the TON network.

According to blockchain explorer Tonviewer, the payment cleared as two Jetton transfers, making it a lucrative resale with an 8x return over 3.5 years since its initial sale in November 2022 for 40,000 Toncoin (TON), equivalent to around $64,000 at the time.

This sale represents one of many high-value transactions involving Telegram usernames, which have become highly coveted branding tools and digital identities.
