XRP, the token behind Ripple, is one of the most popular cryptocurrencies in the world. However, it has never reached $4 and only traded above $3 on two occasions, once at $3.84 in 2018 and again at $3.65 last July.
The CLARITY Act could be a major catalyst for XRP's price increase, with Standard Chartered estimating that the bill's passage could lead to as much as $8 billion in ETF inflows. Analysts expect XRP to end 2026 above $2, with forecasts ranging from $2 to $4.
XRP last traded above $2 in January 2026 and has since lost about half its value. To hit $2 again this year, the CLARITY Act would need to pass, while a delay into 2027 could see XRP trade between $1 and $1.50.
