Bitcoin Institutional Holders Reach Record High Amid Market Correction

According to CryptoQuant analyst Darkfost, large investors holding more than 1 Bitcoin have been consistently adding to their positions during the current market correction. This group's total Bitcoin holdings have now reached a record high of over 16.8 million BTC.

This reflects strengthening long-term allocation demand and further underscores the institutionalization trend of Bitcoin assets. Data shows that holdings by this group continue to rise, suggesting market participants are increasingly favoring long-term asset allocation over short-term trading.

At the retail level, analysis indicates signs of renewed accumulation as well, though overall sentiment remains relatively cautious. Retail investors currently hold approximately 17 million BTC, still below the historical peak reached in December 2023.
