Crypto YouTube View Velocity Collapses in 2026, Signaling Retail Shift

The crypto retail cycle may be signaling its next move through YouTube view velocity, rather than subscriber counts.

Large channels like Coin Bureau and Crypto Banter still have significant audiences, but their current attention is much thinner and more uneven than suggested by their subscriber totals.

A comparison of current views to January 2025 levels shows that four out of six sampled channels are down by roughly three-quarters in terms of monthly views, with Altcoin Daily down 62.4% and Benjamin Cowen down 26.9%

Altcoin Daily is the counterexample to a blanket decline claim, as it generated more than 38 million YouTube views in 2025 and has shown stronger near-term performance than several peers.
