Coinbase Shares Bounce Despite Net Loss and Revenue Decline
Coinbase Global, Inc. (COIN) saw its shares jump by $2.93 to $162.35 after posting a net loss of $394.1 million in Q1 2026 despite achieving an all-time high trading market share of 8.6%.
The company reported revenue of $1.41 billion, down 31% year-over-year from the same period last year.
Coinbase secured CFTC approval to launch regulated crypto perpetual futures for U.S. users and expanded its enterprise offerings through new stablecoin payout partnerships with MassPay Holdings.
