US Senate Revives Efforts for Clarity in Crypto Regulation
The US Senate is reviving efforts to pass market structure legislation, which would provide a clearer framework for cryptocurrency trading in the country.
The House version of this bill, known as the CLARITY Act, passed with a bipartisan majority last July. However, progress had stalled in the Senate until recently.
A third meeting was convened by the White House on Thursday between crypto and banking industry negotiators to discuss issues related to stablecoin yield. According to reports, the discussion included review of specific draft text from the White House.
