Data Foundation Integrates with Kled to Expand AI Data Infrastructure
The Story project has rebranded as the DATA Foundation and integrated with consumer data platform Kled to expand its AI data infrastructure. The existing $IP token will be converted into a new $DATA token on a 1:1 basis, with the DATA token aligned with enabling a verifiable data economy.
The integration is aimed at addressing the growing demand for legally collected AI data through Kled and other channels, which is expected to increase the volume of on-chain transactions generated in the verification and settlement process. The company believes that proof of data provenance will determine competitiveness going forward, and blockchain will become the infrastructure for a standardized data provenance system.
Andrea Muttoni, the new CEO of the DATA Foundation, stated that the company's focus has narrowed to AI data infrastructure due to the realization that intellectual property and AI training data share the same core problem. He emphasized that trusted, consented, and auditable data supply is the market's most urgent issue.
The company plans to expand through Trace and ecosystem apps into a verifiable data infrastructure layer designed to ease the bottleneck of specialized data for legitimate use. Kled has been integrated with the DATA Foundation, allowing its large volume of data to be audited safely and transparently using the trust framework provided by the foundation.
