WSOP Partners with Solana Foundation for Cryptocurrency Payments

The World Series of Poker (WSOP) has made a significant move towards modernizing its payment methods by partnering with the Solana Foundation.

The partnership will enable players to use cryptocurrency for tournament buy-ins, starting at the WSOP event in Las Vegas. This integration is powered by MoonPay, allowing players to use digital assets without processing fees.

The initiative will further expand to the WSOP Paradise in the Bahamas in December, where winners can choose to receive payouts in Solana stablecoins.
