Corporate Bitcoin Holdings Surge Amid Market Volatility

Cryptocurrency markets have witnessed a surge in corporate adoption of Bitcoin during the first quarter of 2026. According to a report by Bitwise Asset Management, public companies added 50,351 BTC to their balance sheets, representing a 4.6% increase quarter over quarter.

This growth brings the total amount of Bitcoin held by publicly traded companies to 1.15 million, which accounts for approximately 5.47% of the total circulating supply.
