Maya-Lydian Partnership Brings Crypto Payments to Philippine Merchants

Financial technology company Maya is collaborating with digital asset infrastructure provider Lydian to bring cryptocurrency payments to the Philippines. Through this partnership, merchants using the Maya Business platform will be able to accept stablecoin-based transactions from consumers.

The 'Pay with Crypto' option will be integrated into existing consumer payment methods, including QR codes, payment links, and online checkouts. This means that businesses can now accept digital asset payments directly at the point of sale, without having to worry about cryptocurrency price volatility.

Lydian's infrastructure provides merchants with same-day settlements in Philippine pesos, eliminating their exposure to market fluctuations. Maya will manage the compliance requirements for the initiative, including conducting wallet screening and enforcing Travel Rule compliance.
