Ripple's Ex-CTO Regrets Selling XRP Holdings Amid Regulatory Wins
Ripple's former Chief Technology Officer (CTO), David Schwartz, has expressed regret over selling his XRP holdings at $0.10 per coin. In a recent tweet, he stated that he wishes he hadn't done so, citing an aversion to risk as the reason for his decision.
Schwarz explained that he and his wife had agreed to sell their XRP stash whenever it hit fresh all-time heights, which is why they sold at $0.10 per coin. He also mentioned that he feels uncomfortable with taking risks in the crypto market, stating 'I wish I was more comfortable with risk, but I'm just not that person.'
The former CTO believes that Ripple's technology stack has a strong utility-driven adoption narrative, which could lead to significant growth for XRP. He also mentioned that Ripple's recent regulatory wins, including the settlement with the US SEC and potential approval of the Clarity Act, could be beneficial for the company.
