Crypto's Quantum Conundrum: CZ Downplays Threat, Experts Disagree

Changpeng Zhao, former CEO of Binance, has stated that cryptocurrencies do not need to panic about the approaching quantum computing minefield.

In an interview, CZ noted that upgrading to quantum-resistant algorithms will be enough to mitigate the risks associated with quantum computers. He emphasized that this is a relatively simple solution and that there is no need for alarm.

However, experts have warned that this may not be as straightforward as it sounds. Some projects may not upgrade at all due to the complexity of implementing new algorithms in a decentralized system.
