Cardano Partners with Brazilian Olympic Committee to Revolutionize Sports Management

The Cardano Foundation has announced a three-year partnership with the Brazilian Olympic Committee (COB) to explore the use of blockchain technology, artificial intelligence, and Internet of Things tools in various areas of sports management.

The partnership aims to improve transparency, efficiency, and governance in Brazilian sport through secure digital identities, intelligent tracking of equipment, and permanent, auditable records. The COB plans to become a global benchmark in sports innovation, using Cardano's technology to strengthen trust with athletes, federations, and society.

Brazil becomes an important test market for Cardano's public blockchain tools, building on previous partnerships with SERPRO, Brazil's state-owned IT provider, and the University of Brasília. The COB's agreement with Cardano will not include a token launch or direct payment product, focusing instead on non-financial use cases.
