Bitwise Brings Crypto Portfolios to Retail Traders via Parrot Finance Partnership

Bitwise Asset Management has partnered with Parrot Finance to bring its managed crypto portfolios to retail traders. This integration will allow Parrot's clients to access Bitwise's model portfolios, which provide broad crypto exposure, thematic strategies, and systematic monitoring and rebalancing.

The current evidence suggests a distribution shift rather than a flow signal, as the partnership gives Parrot clients access to more than $200 million in capital. However, it remains to be seen whether users will allocate through these models in size.

Bitwise's model portfolios have been designed for financial professionals, but this partnership marks their entry into a consumer-facing app. The user experience may differ from traditional advisor dashboards, as crypto exposure is presented as a managed allocation choice within a broader investing interface.

The rollout supports the availability and distribution of Bitwise's model portfolios, which are aimed at making crypto adoption easier for individual investors. The experiment will test whether presenting crypto exposure as part of a portfolio architecture can increase demand through portfolio defaults, monitoring logic, or thematic menus.
