Coinbase Advanced Gets Modular Makeover with Cross-Asset Trading

Coinbase has revamped its Advanced trading platform with a fully modular interface that allows traders to customize their layouts using over 20 widgets.

The new design, which Coinbase is calling 'modular, institutional-grade, and built for cross-asset execution,' enables users to drag-and-drop various tools onto their workspace, including order books, charts, position tracking, and more.

This modularity is not unique to Coinbase - other exchanges like Binance have offered customizable layouts for years. However, the new platform combines this feature with cross-asset trading and a charting engine powered by TradingView, which comes loaded with 104 indicators and multiple chart types, along with custom drawing tools.

The upgrade also introduces side-by-side trading of stocks and crypto on the same screen, allowing professional traders to manage mixed portfolios in a single workspace.
