Parallel TCG Lands on Mobile App Stores After Five-Year Journey
Parallel TCG, a sci-fi trading card game developed by Parallel Studios, has finally made its way onto mobile app stores. This marks the culmination of a five-year journey that began with the launch of collectibles during the peak of the NFT boom.
The game's transition to a free-to-play model on PC in February 2024 was followed by a series of expansions and beta tests, including the release of Planetfall, Aftermath, and Deception. These updates added new cards and features to the game, with the latter expansion introducing a 90 percent burn of supply from earlier sets.
Parallel TCG's success extends beyond its gameplay, as it has also established itself as a competitive esports platform. The Parallel League Championship at the HyperX Arena in Las Vegas boasted a $250,000 prize pool, with subsequent seasons funded at $1 million and $2 million, respectively.
The global mobile launch is a significant step forward for the game, which uses its NFTs as an optional layer to enhance PRIME earnings. With this new platform, players can access the game on-the-go, making it more accessible than ever before.
