Cryptocurrency Lobbying Group Receives $10 Million From Cantor Fitzgerald

A recently formed cryptocurrency lobbying group, the Fellowship political action committee (PAC), has made its first major fundraising disclosure. According to the filing, the organization received $10 million in contributions from Cantor Fitzgerald.

The contribution is notable due to Cantor Fitzgerald's close ties with US Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick. Before taking office, Lutnick handed off leadership of his financial services firm to his sons.

Fellowship also received $1 million from Anchorage Digital, a US-based institutional crypto platform. The disclosure marks the PAC's first major move since its formation in September and comes as it publicly endorsed candidates in six separate races ahead of the November midterm elections.
