Cardano Founder Questions Effectiveness of High-Profile Crypto Events
Cardano's recent debate over how to deploy community resources has sparked a heated discussion within the ecosystem. Charles Hoskinson, the founder of Cardano, has been vocal about his opposition to allocating treasury funds to high-profile crypto events.
Hoskinson argues that attending parties and conferences does not attract new users or expand the ecosystem in a meaningful way. He instead proposes directing funds towards developing permanent community hubs worldwide, which would host weekly events, foster developer collaboration, and incubate new projects.
The concept of these Cardano centers has already been demonstrated through the success of the Buenos Aires hub, which regularly draws 100-200 participants and supports initiatives such as hackathons and venture incubations.
