Russia's Duma Set to Vote on Regulated Crypto Trading Bill
Russia's State Duma is set to vote on July 21 on a crypto bill that legalizes regulated trading and cross-border settlements but maintains a ban on domestic crypto payments.
The bill permits licensed exchanges and brokers under Bank of Russia supervision, with retail investors capped at 300,000 rubles annually to limit demand.
The law aims to support international trade amid sanctions while protecting the ruble's domestic role.
