Hyperliquid's HYPE Token Surpasses Solana in Price

According to recent data, HYPE has surpassed Solana in price, reaching a record high near $75.4. This is a significant milestone for the token, which has been gaining momentum over the past month. In fact, its value has increased by about 24% over this period, while Solana's value has declined by nearly 14%. This suggests that HYPE may be entering a price discovery phase.

One possible reason for HYPE's growth is Hyperliquid's expansion into the derivatives market. The company recently captured a record 6.63% share of global perpetual futures volume in May, demonstrating its increasing presence in this space. Additionally, Hyperliquid has been attracting institutional interest with new investment products, which may be contributing to the token's growing value.
