Visa and Stripe-Backed Tempo Unveil AI Agent Payment Tools

Visa has introduced its Command Line Interface (CLI) tool, designed to enable AI agents to make same-day payments securely. This tool eliminates the need for API keys, which can pose a security risk if compromised. The CLI tool is part of Visa Crypto Labs' experimental products.

Tempo, backed by Stripe, has also launched its blockchain and Machine Payments Protocol. This protocol aims to facilitate high-throughput stablecoin transactions and programmatic card payments. Tempo's blockchain is 'purpose-built for payments,' focusing on servicing stablecoin transactions efficiently.
