Bitcoin Depot Appoints Tony Gagliardi as Chief Compliance Officer

Bitcoin Depot Inc., a leading provider of cryptocurrency services, has appointed Tony Gagliardi as its Chief Compliance Officer, effective April 8, 2026. This move comes as the company continues to expand its operations and navigate the increasingly complex regulatory landscape.

Gagliardi brings over 15 years of experience in building and leading compliance programs across various industries, including banking, payments, fintech, and regulated digital assets. He has held senior global compliance roles at prominent cryptocurrency firms, including OKX, Paxos, and Coinbase.

In his new role, Gagliardi will oversee all aspects of Bitcoin Depot's compliance program, including anti-money laundering (AML) and Know-Your-Customer programs, licensing, state-by-state regulatory compliance strategies, transaction monitoring, risk management, and consumer protection initiatives. He will report directly to CEO Alex Holmes.

Gagliardi's extensive experience in navigating complex regulatory environments and leading remediation efforts positions him well to manage Bitcoin Depot's evolving compliance framework. His appointment is expected to enhance the company's ability to adapt to changing regulations and maintain a strong commitment to consumer protection and AML practices.
